Description
This Kroftman Workbox is 4 metres wide and 6 metres long, creating 24 m² of covered workspace. The clear height is approximately 2.59 metres.
This configuration is built using one open-side container and one shipping container. The open-side container is directly accessible from the covered area, allowing tools and materials to be stored close at hand and protected during work.
This configuration is commonly used as a saw shed, temporary workshop or sheltered work area. The combination of covered workspace and directly accessible container storage makes this Workbox a practical solution for construction sites, maintenance locations and other business premises where temporary additional workspace is required.

All relevant calculations, drawings and declarations immediately at hand.
No separate documents on request, but everything clearly bundled for you, your client, purchaser or insurer.

Steel structure
The steel structure is made from galvanized S390 steel. S390 steel is used for its strength. The galvanized finish helps protect the steel structure against corrosion.
Fastening and installation
This configuration is attached to the containers using fastening brackets on one side and a mounting beam on the other side. The fastening brackets are secured to the container edge, so there is no need to drill or weld into the container. The mounting beam is attached to the container’s twistlocks and allows installation on, among others, open-side and office containers.
An indicative assembly time of 1 working day is required. The actual assembly time depends, among other factors, on site preparation, weather conditions and the experience of the assembly team.
Permits and technical documentation
Whether you need a permit for a shelter depends, among other things, on the location, dimensions and duration of use. Always check which rules apply at your location.
Every Kroftman shelter comes with technical documentation, bundled in the safety dossier. This documentation can be used when a local authority, structural engineer or other party requests technical substantiation, for example when preparing a permit application.

My order has been delivered, how can I check if it is complete?
Use the packing list provided to check the contents of your order upon delivery. Every order is checked by us at two stages: during picking and again before shipment. We check whether the order is complete, take photos, and only release it for shipment after approval.
If you still have any doubts about whether everything is included, feel free to contactus. We’ll be happy to help.
What is the delivery time of the shelter?
Our warehouse in Babberich holds a large stock of shelters, allowing us to process orders quickly. If your order is in stock and payment has been received, we can hand it over to our transport company within two days. This results in a delivery time of approximately one week within the Netherlands and one to two weeks for deliveries to Germany.
Do I need a permit for my shelter?
A permit may be required for a shelter. Whether this applies to your situation depends, among other things, on the location, how long the shelter will remain in place and how it will be used. Always check with your local authority to find out which requirements apply.
Our shelters are designed in accordance with the European standard EN 13782. To help you prepare for a possible permit application, we provide the most important technical documentation as standard in the safety dossier.
This includes, among other things, the Buildbook, including technical drawings and structural and strength calculations. These documents provide insight into the technical basis, safety and stability of the shelter and can be used as part of a permit application.
The safety dossier is available digitally free of charge. The Buildbook can also be requested as a physical copy.
What is the frame made of?
The frame is made from S355 structural steel. This European steel grade is commonly used for load-bearing structures and is known for its high strength and reliability.
We choose S355 steel because it provides a strong and durable base for our shelters. The material is well suited for outdoor use and complies with European standards.
Are structural calculations of the products available?
Yes, the structural calculations of the products can be found in the buildbook. This book contains all technical details and calculations required for the safety and stability of the shelters. You can request the buildbook free of charge, both online and in physical form.
Where can I find the manual?
A separate installation manual is available for each frame and cover. You can find this manual both in the packaging and online, where it can be downloaded per product.
What are the payment terms?
For orders with a value below €5,000, we require 100% prepayment. For orders with a higher value, it is possible to pay 50% in advance and the remaining 50% upon delivery. Payment on account is possible subject to a positive credit assessment. For this, we work together with Allianz Trade.
Do you have structural calculations available?
Yes, all our standard products are supplied with structural calculations, which are available upon request at no additional cost.
We work with specialized engineers to ensure that all calculations comply with the EN13782 standard. This guarantees broad acceptance in Europe and internationally.
To maintain their legal validity, we only provide these documents in their original German or English version. If needed, you can use these documents as a reference so that a local engineer can prepare a structural calculation that meets the specific requirements of your country.
