During the renovation of the Julianakanaal, a four-kilometre stretch, two 8 by 12 metre shelters with an arched roof were deployed. This section of the canal, located between Berg and Obbicht, was temporarily drained in order to widen and reinforce it. The goal: to make the canal suitable for inland vessels up to 190 metres, allowing the shipping route between Antwerp and the Ruhr area to be used more efficiently.

Our shelters were installed on containers and provided covered storage space for equipment and machinery. This setup ensured that materials remained well protected against rain and sun. Although rain is often the main culprit, the sun is still too often underestimated when it comes to protecting equipment.

Do you also deal with materials that need to be stored dry? Or are you looking for a solution that offers both protection and accessibility for your storage space?
