Robust construction designed for outdoor climates
The supporting structure of every Kroftman shelter is made from cold-rolled, galvanized S355 structural steel. Thanks to galvanization according to EN 10346 and additional electrolytic galvanizing as per EN 10152, the steel structure withstands prolonged exposure to moisture, temperature fluctuations, and UV radiation. Bolt connections, partly combined with welded components, ensure a stable and secure construction that can be mounted quickly and efficiently.
Curious why we chose steel? Watch this video where we briefly explain our considerations.

Roof covering tailored to your application
Depending on your preference and project requirements, you can choose between a PVC or HDPE cover:
PVC cover
With a weight of 610 g/m², the PVC cover is the robust option, suitable for applications with extra fire safety requirements.
High tensile strength (>2500 N/5 cm)
Fire safety certification according to EN 13501-1 (B-s1, d0) & DIN 4102 B1
Temperature resistant from -30°C to +70°C
UV stabilized for long-term use
HDPE cover
The 300 g/m² HDPE cover is a lighter, efficient choice, particularly suitable where lower loads or ease of installation is important. This cover is also tested for fire safety, though certification levels are somewhat lower.
Both options are designed for long-term use in demanding environments. The covers come with clear test and certification reports available upon request.
We have also visualized the differences in a video. Watch it to find out which type best suits your situation.
Safety in storage, installation, and use
A safe shelters starts with responsible use. That’s why we provide clear guidelines:
Storage:
Store the cover dry, flat, and well ventilated
Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight during storage
Installation:
Only to be carried out by qualified personnel
Use of personal protective equipment mandatory (helmet, gloves, fall protection)
Beware of cutting hazards from metal edges
Installation at height only with approved lifting equipment and scaffolding
Use:
The structure is tested for wind and snow loads (depending on the model)
Always keep heat sources and open flames away from the cover
