From 3D to on-site: a custom shelter solution

Every site is different — and so are our clients' needs. At Kroftman, we believe in creating custom-fit solutions using our standard shelters. A recent project with Myne shows just how flexible this approach can be.

The client came to us with a specific request: they needed a covered area between containers, stacked on multiple containers to create height, built to withstand all weather conditions and tailored to their layout.

We created a 3D drawing that combined all the necessary elements — size, span, height, and container placement — into one clear visual. This gave immediate insight into how the shelter would look and function on-site. Because of the height new calculations were made to make sure the final project meets all the standards.

The build: from digital model to modular setup

Once the design was approved, we selected the right components from our product range to match the layout. Every shelter we supply meets the EN13782 standard. Our continuously expanding range of standard frames, mounting systems, and covers allows us to configure setups that fit a wide variety of site conditions.

Originally the CTS1212 was calculated on 1 container high. In order for the complete structure to be safe and conform EN13782, we recalculated for 3 containers high. That's what we call guaranteed quality and conformity.

Efficient on-site installation

After delivery, the client completed the installation using the provided instructions and mounting materials. Because the shelters are modular and engineered for easy assembly, the process was straightforward.
