Anchoring

Permanent installed building (EN 1990, EN 1090)

Option 1: Your building on a concrete foundation

This is the best option for a watertight connection of your building to the ground. A concrete foundation can be in the form of a complete concrete slab or a ring foundation. We do not manufacture concrete foundations ourselves. You can engage a construction company for this purpose. Please make sure that they follow the dimensions on our building plan during installation. The exact surface dimensions are important for the installation of the construction and water barrier around the building. It must fit precisely to direct rainwater over the edge of the foundation. The required strength of the foundation can be calculated by a (structural) engineer. Data regarding the strength of your foundation is also important if you need to apply for a building permit to construct your building.

For temporary or semi-permanent installed building (EN 13782)

Option 2: Prefab concrete slab elements

This option is suitable for both (semi)permanent use and as a temporary solution. The prefab concrete slabs can be quickly removed and are reusable. The concrete surface must be larger than the surface dimensions of the building according to the Kroftman building drawings. We recommend placing the concrete slabs in the middle under the facades/walls to prevent the slabs from tilting up.

Option 3: Your building on a hard surface

Our buildings can be installed on a hard surface such as asphalt, pavement, compacted sand, gravel, or hard gravel. This option is suitable for temporary or semi-permanent construction. You secure the building to the ground using ground anchors. Ground anchors are an option you can choose for your building. The surface where you place the building must be level with a slope of no more than 1 cm per meter in one direction. A curved surface is not possible. If there is a slope in the installation surface of more than 1 cm per meter, you should fill it before placing the building.
